I want to share my story as to why I am so passionate about helping new teachers be successful.  I remember all too well what It felt like years ago when I stood in front of a classroom of children for the very first time. I had so many questions racing across my mind. I have to admit there were lots of things that I wished I'd learned in college before that first day. You know, the little nuances that they don’t teach you in your teacher preparation program. Things like how to take roll, setting up a grade book, or what goes on the table outside of your classroom door on the first day of school to name a few. I just kind of stumbled and learned on the fly. I remember thinking, that I want the New Teacher to be better prepared and learn from my experiences. Helping teachers is something I am very passionate about. That's the reason why I began this podcast, to assist new teachers by providing topics of value that will ensure their success.
